Twitter was "moving rapidly to establish an even playing field" among different viewpoints on the platform, claiming that far-left "views have been propagated to the world via Twitter." "No more thumb on the scale!" Musk wrote.

"The man who single-handedly wrecked the U.S. economy based upon 'the science.' Only to discover that he can't recall practically anything dealing with his Covid response!"

“After finding documentation of a collusive relationship between the Biden Administration and social media companies to censor free speech, we immediately filed a motion to get these officials under oath,” Schmitt said in the lawsuit, adding “it is high time we shine a light on this censorship enterprise and force these officials to come clean to the American people, and this ruling will allow us to do just that.”

Biden’s National Science Foundation Has Pumped Nearly $40 Million Into Social Media Censorship Grants and Contracts
So this is a government grant, funded by the NSF, which explicitly takes aim at “populist politicians,” “populist communications,” and targets the former “populist leaders” of four countries — including the United States. To ram the radical bias home, the NSF grant explicitly says the goal of the funding is “to counter these populist narratives.” That is, point blank, just the US government using US taxpayer funds to counter the social media opinions of half of the entire US electorate.

Twitter’s management began censoring conservatives before the 2016 Election and went full-blast anti-conservative after President Trump won the election.

A federal court ruled that Dr. Anthony Fauci and other government officials must testify under oath about whether they colluded with Big Tech to censor certain users and viewpoints.

How about getting Google and Facebook to open their algorithms as well. > Breton added that Musk “will have to open his algorithms. We will have control, we will have access, people will no longer be able to say rubbish.”

The corrupt DOJ made up crimes against him and the media was happy to report them. These were all lies. We now know Hillary and Obama were behind these bogus claims and instituted them to keep the focus on President Trump and not on their many crimes. > > Then came the 2020 Election where the results in numerous swing states never should have been certified. The media ignored the obvious crimes and corruption that led to the results used to steal the election from President Trump. The media went silent. > > Big Tech this whole time was slowly and then quickly censoring conservatives. Eventually, they kicked the President of the United States off their platforms, Donald Trump.

It is not a stretch to say that, at the time Morris brought the bill every citizen in Louisiana who had dared to express an opinion on social media that contradicted the approved government narrative had been censored. > > The Bill had already passed in the Senate 37-0, and was scheduled before the House Commerce Committee on June 2, 2021. RINO Representative Paula Davis was the Republican Chairman of that Committee, and the Committee itself was majority Republican. Not only did Morris’ Bill fail to get out of Committee, Davis could not get enough Committee members to the hearing to even have a vote, and the bill died there. > > At best, Davis was grossly incompetent at a time when her service to Louisiana citizens was most needed. At worst she deliberately orchestrated the defeat of the Bill for reasons we all have a right to know. In either case, Davis, who I hear is a nice and attractive person, failed the citizens of Louisiana. > > Big tech’s continued suppression of conservative religious and political speech with zero consequence falls squarely at her feet.

“Facebook created a special portal for DHS to streamline directives from your Department to suppress speech,” Hawley wrote. “While you were publicly announcing that you had disbanded the Disinformation Governance Board, your Department was still ‘having biweekly meetings’ behind closed doors with Facebook to suppress speech,” Hawley added.

Fournalists appear to be shifting to make Musk afraid, very afraid, of what awaits him if he confronts powerful Democrats or allows a greater diversity of viewpoints on Twitter. While some of us believe that it is good to “risk” criticism of powerful leaders in a democracy, Stein cannot understand why Musk would take such a risk, even as figures like Markey try to coerce him to restore censorship on Twitter.

Biden regime does NOT want clips of these depositions made public and there's a reason why.

The shame campaigns are working better than ever because Americans are no longer confident they’ll be backed up when speaking their conscience. Why would people do the costly public service of speaking up when the public won’t even secure their right to speak? We can’t expect rational patriots to speak up again until the record is set straight. The public must make clear that it will defend controversial ideas on principle. That’s what this cultural moment must be about if we are to save free speech. Congressional hearings are well and good — the government censors and their accomplices should be exposed and held to account. But it’s much more important that those private citizens who spoke up about censorship reprimand those who didn’t but knew they should have. This is more important than even institutional reform. We must have unpleasant conversations with friends and family who didn’t protest when the government and its flunkies came for free speech.

Had sought the testimony of FBI supervisory special agent Elvis Chan due to his being the "principal point of contact between social-media platforms and the FBI Section that combats so-called 'disinformation' on social media," per the Epoch Times. He also "routinely organizes and participates in oral meetings with social-media platforms about election-related disinformation and... has openly boasted about coordinating with social-media platforms to combat misinformation and disinformation," they asserted.

Roth’s interactions with government officials have stoked longstanding concerns that social media companies collude with the federal government to censor unflattering content. Government officials also briefed Facebook before the social media giant blocked access to the Biden story. Two FBI officials who met with Facebook before that decision, Laura Dehmlow and Elvis Chan, donated to Democratic campaigns in 2020, the Free Beacon reported. It is unclear if they also met with Roth. Roth worked closely with the Department of Homeland Security’s ill-fated Disinformation Governance Board. According to an internal agency document, the Board planned to meet with Roth in April to ask Twitter to "become involved" in its efforts to monitor disinformation on social media websites. The Board faced intense blowback not only for its Orwellian-sounding name, but also because its chairwoman, Nina Jankowicz, had pushed the baseless theory that Russia was involved in the release of Biden’s laptop emails.

Free speech is critical to find the best solutions to problems and enjoy the full benefits of human creativity.

There can be no freedom without free speech.
